त्वामभिप्रेप्सुरायाति कर्ण निध्नन् वरान् रथान् | असहामानो राधेय तं याहि प्रति भारत
tvām abhiprepsur āyāti karṇa nighnan varān rathān | asahāmāno rādheya taṁ yāhi prati bhārata ||
ராதேய கர்ணா! அர்ஜுனன் தலைசிறந்த தேர்வீரர்களை வீழ்த்திக்கொண்டே உன்னையே அடைய எண்ணி இங்கே முன்னேறுகிறான். அவன் பகைவர்க்கு தாங்கமுடியாதவன். பாரத குல வீரனே, அவனை எதிர்கொள்ள முன்செல்.
