नश्यमानमहं युक्त मन्येयमिति मे मतिः । “रणभूमिमें तुम्हें पाकर सारा क्षत्रियसमाज एक दिनमें नष्ट हो सकता है, ऐसा कहना मैं युक्तिसंगत मानता हूँ। मेरी तो ऐसी ही धारणा है |। ५० ई ।।
naśyamānam ahaṁ yuktaṁ manyeyam iti me matiḥ | seyaṁ pārtha camūr ghorā dhārtarāṣṭrasya saṁyuge ||
“போர்க்களத்தில் உன்னை எதிர்கொண்டால், முழுக் க்ஷத்திரியக் கூட்டமே ஒரே நாளில் அழிந்துவிடலாம்—என்று கூறுவது நியாயமென எனக்குத் தோன்றுகிறது; அதுவே என் உறுதியான நம்பிக்கை.” இப்போது, ஓ பார்த்தா, போருக்காக அணிவகுத்துள்ள த்ருதராஷ்டிரப் புதல்வர்களின் இந்தக் கொடிய சேனையைப் பார்.
