Transliteration

śūnyāḥ kṛtā rathopasthā hatāś ca gajavājinaḥ |

Translation

சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—பத்து நாட்கள் இடைவிடாது உமது சேனையை அழித்த பீஷ்மன், எண்ணற்ற ரதங்களின் மேடைகளை வெறுமையாக்கினான்; பல யானைகளும் குதிரைகளும் கொல்லப்பட்டன.
