ते निवृत्ता: पुनः पार्थ सर्वतः पर्यवारयन् । रणे सपत्नान् निध्नन्तं जिगीषन्तं परान् युधि
te nivṛttāḥ punaḥ pārtha sarvataḥ paryavārayan | raṇe sapatnān nidhnantaṃ jigīṣantaṃ parān yudhi ||
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—திரும்பி வந்த அந்த வீரர்கள் பார்தனை எல்லாத் திசைகளிலும் சூழ்ந்தனர்; ஏனெனில் போரில் அர்ஜுனன் வெற்றியை நாடி எதிரிகளை அழித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தான்—அதைக் கண்டு முன்பு ஓடிய படையினரும் மீண்டும் வந்து அவனை முற்றுகையிட்டனர்।
