धृतराष्ट्रस्य मूर्च्छा तथा द्रोणविषयकप्रश्नाः

केडरक्षन् दक्षिणं चक्रं सव्यं के च महात्मन:
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | ke ’rakṣan dakṣiṇaṃ cakraṃ savyaṃ ke ca mahātmanaḥ | ke vīrāḥ purato droṇasya yuddhe yuddhaparāyaṇāḥ | ke ca tyaktvā śarīrasnehaṃ pratyapadyanta vai ripūn | raṇe mṛtyuṃ ca ye prāpuḥ ||
த்ருதராஷ்டிரன் கூறினான்—ஓ மகாத்மா! அந்த வியூகத்தின் வலது சக்கரத்தை யார் காத்தனர், இடது சக்கரத்தை யார்? போரில் எப்போதும் ஈடுபட்ட துரோணாசாரியரின் முன்னிலையில் ரணகளத்தில் எந்த வீரர்கள் நின்றனர்? மேலும் உடலாசையைத் துறந்து எதிரணியை எதிர்கொண்டு அந்தப் போர்க்களத்தில் மரணத்தைத் தேர்ந்தவர்கள் யார்?
