श्लाघमानेषु भूतेषु फाल्गुनस्यामितान्‌ गुणान्‌ । केशवस्य च सौहार्दे कीर्त्यमाने<र्जुनं प्रति,समस्त प्राणी अर्जुनके असंख्य गुणोंकी प्रशंसा तथा उनके प्रति भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णके सौहार्दका बखान कर रहे थे

ślāghamāneṣu bhūteṣu phālgunasya amitān guṇān | keśavasya ca sauhārde kīrtyamāne 'rjunaṃ prati ||

சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—அனைத்து உயிர்களும் பால்குணன் (அர்ஜுனன்) உடைய அளவற்ற நற்குணங்களைப் புகழ்ந்து, அர்ஜுனனைப் பற்றிக் கேசவன் (ஸ்ரீகிருஷ்ணன்) கொண்ட அன்புறவையும் பாடிக் கொண்டிருந்த வேளையில், போரின் கடுமையிடையிலும் மேன்மையும் உறுதியான நட்பும் ஒலித்தன.
