न तु तावदहं मन्ये प्राप्तकालं तवानघ । समागमं महाबाहो सूतपुत्रेण संयुगे,निष्पाप महाबाहु अर्जुन! इस समय रणक्षेत्रमें सूतपुत्रके साथ तुम्हारा युद्ध करना मैं उचित नहीं मानता
na tu tāvad ahaṃ manye prāptakālaṃ tavānagha | samāgamaṃ mahābāho sūtaputreṇa saṃyuge ||
ஓ குற்றமற்றவனே! இன்னும் உனக்கான காலம் வந்ததாக நான் கருதவில்லை. ஓ பெருங்கை வீரனே! இந்நேரத்தில் போரில் சூதபுத்திரனுடன் நீ மோதுவது உரியது அல்ல என நினைக்கிறேன்.
