प्रतिविव्याध त॑ तूर्ण धृष्टद्युम्नोडपि मारिष | दशभि: सायकै्शष्टस्तिष्ठ तिछेति चाब्रवीत्
prativivyādha taṁ tūṛṇaṁ dhṛṣṭadyumno 'pi māriṣa | daśabhiḥ sāyakaiḥ śastraḥ tiṣṭha tiṣṭheti cābravīt ||
மதிப்பிற்குரிய அரசே! அப்போது த்ருஷ்டத்யும்னனும் விரைந்து பத்து அம்புகளால் கர்ணனைத் தாக்கி காயப்படுத்தி, “நில், நில்!” என்று முழங்கினான்.
