अक्षैश्व बहुधा भग्नैरीषादण्डकबन्धुरै: । कुण्जरैर्मथितैश्वापि ध्वजैश्व विनिपातितैः
akṣaiś ca bahudhā bhagnair īṣādaṇḍaka-bandhuraiḥ | kuñjarair mathitaiś cāpi dhvajaiś ca vinipātitaiḥ ||
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—அந்தப் போர்க்களம் பலவிதமாகக் குவிந்திருந்தது: அச்சுகள் உடைந்த ரதங்கள், முறிந்த நுகங்கள் மற்றும் ஈஷாதண்ட-பந்துரங்கள், மிதிக்கப்பட்டு நசுங்கிய யானைகள், கீழே தள்ளப்பட்ட கொடிகள் ஆகியவற்றால்.
