Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 114 — Karṇa–Bhīmasena Missile Exchange, Disarmament, and Arjuna’s Intervention
।। ततः प्रयात: सहसा तव सैन्यं स सात्यकि:
tataḥ prayātaḥ sahasā tava sainyaṃ sa sātyakiḥ
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—அதன்பின் சாத்தியகி தாமதமின்றி திடீரென உங்கள் சேனையை நோக்கி முன்னேறினான்।
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights decisive action in a crisis: a warrior who has accepted a cause must respond promptly to the demands of duty, even amid danger. Ethically, it reflects the kṣatriya ideal of readiness and steadfast loyalty to one’s side in a justly undertaken struggle.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Sātyaki suddenly and swiftly moves forward against the Kaurava forces. It marks a quick tactical advance in the ongoing battle sequence of Droṇa Parva.
