भीष्मशिबिरगमनम् — Duryodhana’s Visit to Bhīṣma’s Camp and the Command Appeal
वृषभस्तु महाराज बहुधा विपरिक्षत: । अमुच्यत महारीौद्रात् तस्माद् वीरावकर्तनात्,महाराज! वृषभ बहुत घायल हो गया था तो भी वीरोंका उच्छेद करनेवाले उस महाभयंकर संग्रामसे उसने अपने-आपको किसी प्रकार मुक्त कर लिया
vṛṣabhas tu mahārāja bahudhā viparīkṣataḥ | amucyata mahāraudrāt tasmād vīrāvakartanāt ||
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—மன்னரே! வृषபன் பலவிதமாகக் காயமுற்று சிதைந்திருந்தாலும், வீரர்களை வெட்டித் தள்ளும் அந்த மிகக் கொடூரமான, அச்சமூட்டும் போர்க்களத்திலிருந்து அவன் எப்படியோ தன்னை விடுவித்துக் கொண்டான்.
