भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः
Bhīṣma checks Bhīmasena; matched engagements intensify
न वै विभीषिकां कांचिदू राजन् कुर्वन्ति पाण्डवा: । युध्यन्ति ते यथान्यायं शक्तिमन्तश्न संयुगे
na vai vibhīṣikāṁ kāñcid ū rājann kurvanti pāṇḍavāḥ | yudhyanti te yathānyāyaṁ śaktimantaś ca saṁyuge ||
அரசே! பாண்டவர்கள் எந்தப் பயங்கரக் காட்சியையும் (விபீஷிகை) ஏற்படுத்துவதில்லை; அவர்கள் அஞ்சுவதும் இல்லை. அவர்கள் நீதிமுறையின்படி போரிடுகிறார்கள்; போரில் உண்மையிலேயே வல்லமை உடையவர்கள்.
