The Tumult of Battle Described
योधास्त्वदीया: शरवर्षैरवर्षन् मेघा यथा भूधरमम्बुवेगै: । तथापि त॑ धारयितुं न शेकु- मध्यन्दिने सूर्यमिवातपन्तम्
yodhās tvadīyāḥ śaravarṣair avarṣan meghā yathā bhūdharam ambuvegaiḥ | tathāpi taṃ dhārayituṃ na śekuḥ madhyandine sūryam ivātapantam ||
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—உமது வீரர்கள் அவன்மேல் அம்புகளின் மழையைப் பொழிந்தனர்; மேகங்கள் மலையின்மேல் வேகமான நீர்தாரைகளைப் பொழிவதுபோல். ஆயினும் அவரால் அவனைத் தடுக்க இயலவில்லை; அவன் போர்க்கள நடுவே மதியச் சூரியன் போல் எரிந்து, கட்டுப்பாடின்றி உலாவினான்.
