न हि मोघ: शर: कश्चिदासीद् भीष्मस्य संयुगे
na hi moghaḥ śaraḥ kaścid āsīd bhīṣmasya saṁyuge
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்: அந்தப் போரில் பீஷ்மனின் எந்த அம்பும் வீணாகவில்லை; ஒவ்வொரு அம்பும் இலக்கைத் துளைத்தது—அவரின் ஒப்பற்ற போர்க் கட்டுப்பாடும், போரின் விளைவுகளின் கடுமையான தவிர்க்கமுடியாமையும் வெளிப்பட்டன।
