Daiva–Puruṣakāra Discourse and the Elephant-Corps Engagement (भीमगजानीक-सम्भ्रान्ति)
हताश्वे स रथे तिष्ठन् भीमसेन: प्रतापवान् । शक्तिं चिक्षेप तरसा गाड्रेयस्य रथं प्रति
hatāśve sa rathe tiṣṭhan bhīmasenaḥ pratāpavān | śaktiṃ cikṣepa tarasā gāḍreyasya rathaṃ prati ||
ரதத்தின் குதிரைகள் கொல்லப்பட்டபோதிலும், வல்லமையும் வீரமும் உடைய பீமசேனன் ரதத்தில் அசையாமல் நின்று, திடீர் வேகத்துடன் சக்தியை எறிந்து அதை காட்ரேயனின் ரதத்தை நோக்கி நேராகச் செலுத்தினான்.
