तेषां समागमो घोरो बभूव युधि संगत: । अन्योन्यस्य वधार्थाय जिगीषूणां महाहवे
teṣāṃ samāgamo ghoro babhūva yudhi saṃgataḥ | anyonyasya vadhārthāya jigīṣūṇāṃ mahāhave ||
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—போர்க்களத்தில் அவர்கள் நேருக்கு நேர் நெருங்கி மோதியபோது அந்தச் சந்திப்பு மிகக் கொடுமையானதாக ஆனது. அந்த மகாபோரில் வெற்றியை நாடிய இரு தரப்பும் ஒருவரையொருவர் கொல்லும் நோக்கத்துடன் கடுமையாகப் போரிட்டனர்.
