भीष्मस्य शरशय्या-प्राप्तिः
Bhīṣma’s Fall to the Arrow-Bed
उरःस्थेन बभौ तेन भीमसेन: प्रतापवान्
uraḥsthena babhau tena bhīmasenaḥ pratāpavān
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—அந்த (ஆயுதம்/அடித் தாக்கம்) மார்பில் பதிந்திருந்த போதிலும், வல்லமைமிக்க வீரன் பீமசேனன் இன்னும் ஒளிவிட்டான்; நேரடி தாக்குதலிலும் அவன் துணிவு குறையவில்லை, போர்தர்மத்தின் கடுமையில் அவன் நிலைத்தன்மை வெளிப்பட்டது।
