निःश्वसन्तं यथा नागमर्जुन: प्रणयात्‌ सखा । निवर्तस्व महाबाहो नानृतं कर्तुमहसि

Transliteration

niḥśvasantaṃ yathā nāgam arjunaḥ praṇayāt sakhā | nivartasva mahābāho nānṛtaṃ kartum arhasi ||

Translation

சீறும் பாம்புபோல் நீண்ட மூச்சுகளை விடும் அவரைக் கண்டு, அன்பு நிறைந்த நண்பன் அர்ஜுனன் கூறினான்—“மகாபாஹோ! திரும்பிவாருங்கள்; உங்கள் பிரதிஞ்ஞையை பொய்யாக்குவது உமக்கு உரியதல்ல.”
