Abhimanyu’s Śrāddha; Vyāsa’s Assurance of the Unborn Heir (अभिमन्योः श्राद्धं तथा गर्भरक्षणोपदेशः)
कुले महति जातासि क्षत्रियाणां महात्मनाम् | मा शुचश्चपलाक्ष त्वं पद्मपत्रनिभेक्षणे
kule mahati jātāsi kṣatriyāṇāṁ mahātmanām | mā śucaś capalākṣa tvaṁ padmapatranibhekṣaṇe ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்— மகளே! தாமரை இதழ்போன்ற கண்களையுடையவளே! நீ உயர்ந்த மனத்தையுடைய க்ஷத்திரியர்களின் மகத்தான குலத்தில் பிறந்தவள்; ஆகையால் அசையும் கண்களையுடைய உன் மகனுக்காக வருந்தாதே।
