Abhimanyunidhana-prakāśaḥ — Vasudeva–Kṛṣṇa–Subhadrā–Kuntī śoka-saṃvāda
Disclosure and Consolation
अकरोत् स ततः काल॑ शरतल्पगतो मुनि: । अयनं दक्षिण हित्वा सम्प्राप्ते चोत्तरायणे
akarot sa tataḥ kālaṁ śaratālpagato muniḥ | ayanaṁ dakṣiṇaṁ hitvā samprāpte cottarāyaṇe ||
வாசுதேவன் கூறினான்—பின்னர் அம்புகளின் படுக்கையில் கிடந்த அந்த முனிவர் தன் பிரயாண நேரத்தைத் தானே நிர்ணயித்தார். சூரியன் தெற்காயனத்தில் இருந்தவரை அவர் உடலை விட்டு நீங்கவில்லை; அந்தக் காலம் முடிந்து வடக்காயனம் வந்தபோது மட்டுமே அவர் மரணத்தை ஏற்றார்—விரதநிலையும் காலத்தின்மேல் கட்டுப்பாடும் வெளிப்படுத்தி।
