स नगो वेश्मसंकीर्णो देवलोक इवाबभौ । वीरवर! उस पर्वतपर प्रण्यानुष्ठानके लिये बहुत-से गृह और आश्रम बने थे

Transliteration

sa nagaḥ veśma-saṅkīrṇo devaloka ivābabhau |

Translation

அந்த மலை பல இல்லங்களால் நிரம்பி, தேவருலகம்போல் ஒளிர்ந்தது. வீரவரே! அங்கே புண்ணிய அனுஷ்டானங்களுக்காக பல வீடுகளும் ஆசிரமங்களும் அமைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தன; அவற்றில் புண்ணியவான்கள் வாழ்ந்தனர். ரைவதக மலையின் அந்த மகோৎসவத்தில் அது வ்ருஷ்ணிவம்ச வீரர்களின் விளையாட்டு-இன்பத் தளமாக அமைந்தது. எண்ணற்ற குடியிருப்புகள் பரவியிருந்ததால் அந்த மலைப்பகுதி தேவருலகத்துக்கு ஒப்பான சிறப்பை பெற்றது.
