भीष्मादीनां महाबाहो तदनुज्ञातुमरहसि । “महाबाहो! कुरुपति धृतराष्ट्र आपके द्वारा जीते गये धनको आपसे माँगकर उसे भीष्म आदिके लिये देना चाहते हैं; अतः आपको इसके लिये स्वीकृति दे देनी चाहिये

Transliteration

bhīṣmādīnāṃ mahābāho tad-anujñātum arhasi |

Translation

வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்—“மகாபாகுவே! பீஷ்மர் முதலியோரின் பொருட்டு இதற்கு நீ அனுமதி அளிக்க வேண்டும். குருபதி துருதராஷ்டிரர், நீ வென்ற செல்வத்தை உன்னிடமிருந்து வேண்டி, அதை பீஷ்மர் முதலியோருக்காக வழங்க விரும்புகிறார்; ஆகவே இதற்கு நீ ஒப்புதல் தர வேண்டும்।”
