छत्रोपानहदानफलप्रशंसा — Praise of the Merit of Donating Umbrella and Footwear
जमदम्नेश्व संवाद सूर्यस्य च महात्मन: । पुरा स भगवान् साक्षाद्धनुषाक्रीडयत् प्रभो
jamadagneś ca saṃvādaḥ sūryasya ca mahātmanaḥ | purā sa bhagavān sākṣād dhanuṣā krīḍayat prabho, ānīya sā tadā tasmai prādād asakṛd acyuta |
பிரபோ! இவ்விஷயத்தில் மகரிஷி ஜமதக்னியும் மகாத்மா பகவான் சூரியனும் நிகழ்த்திய பழம்பெரும் உரையாடல் கூறப்படுகிறது. முற்காலத்தில் வணக்கத்திற்குரிய ஜமதக்னி தாமே வில்லாட்டக் கலைப் பயிற்சியாக வில்லுடன் விளையாடிக் கொண்டிருந்தார். அப்போது அவரது மனைவி ரேணுகா மீண்டும் மீண்டும் அந்த அம்புகளை எடுத்துவந்து அவரிடம் ஒப்படைத்தாள்.
