Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
नानाविधैश्व विहगैर्जलप्रकरसेविभि: । एकद्वारामनादेयां सूपतीर्थामकर्दमाम्
nānāvidhaiś ca vihagair jalaprakara-sevibhiḥ | ekadvārām anādeyāṃ sūpatīrthām akardamām ||
அங்கே நீரையே சார்ந்து வாழும் பலவகைப் பறவைகள் பலவிதக் குரல்களால் இடத்தை முழங்கச் செய்து, அதன் பெருநீரை அருந்தின. அதில் நுழைவதற்கு ஒரே வாயில் இருந்தது; அங்கிருந்து எதையும் எடுத்துச் செல்லக் கூடாது. நீராடுவதற்குச் சிறந்த படித்துறைகள் அமைந்திருந்தன; பாசியும் சேறும் அங்கே இல்லை।
