Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
जगदग्निरुवाच नैतस्थेह यथास्माकं भक्तमिन्धनमेव च । संचिन्त्यं वार्षिक चित्ते तेन पीवाउछुना सह
Jamadagnir uvāca: na etat iha yathā asmākam bhaktam indhanam eva ca | sañcintyam vārṣikam citte tena pīvā ucchunā saha ||
ஜமதக்னி கூறினார்—நம்மைப் போல ஆண்டு முழுவதற்கான உணவும் எரிவிறகும் சேர்க்க வேண்டிய கவலை இவனுடைய உள்ளத்தில் இல்லை. அதனால் அந்த நாயுடன் இருந்தும் இவன் புஷ்டியானான்.
