Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
नैव लोभ॑ तदा चक्रुस्तत: स्वर्गमवाप्रुवन्
naiva lobhaṁ tadā cakrus tataḥ svargam avāpruvan
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—அப்போதும் அவர்கள் பேராசைக்கு இடம் கொடுக்கவில்லை; ஆகவே அவர்கள் ஸ்வர்கத்தை அடைந்தனர். மிகுந்த பசியால் வாடினாலும், பெரியோர் பலவகை இன்பங்களால் கவர முயன்றாலும், அந்த மகாத்மாக்கள் ஆசைக்குப் பணியவில்லை—அதனால் அவர்கள் ஸ்வர்கபதத்தைப் பெற்றனர்.
