தெய்வீகமான ஹுதாசனன் (அக்னி) நிறுவப்பட்டு ஜ்வலித்தால், ராக்ஷஸர்கள் அங்கிருந்து விலகிச் செல்கின்றனர். பிண்டதானத்தில் முதலில் தந்தைக்கு பிண்டம் அளிக்க வேண்டும்; அதன் பின் பிதாமகனுக்கு அளிக்க வேண்டும்.
