नक्षत्रेषु श्राद्धफलविधानम् (Śrāddha Outcomes According to Nakṣatras)
चन्द्रमाने भेंड़ा दिया, सूर्यने मनोहर कान्ति प्रदान की, गोमाता सुरभि देवीने एक लाख गौएँ प्रदान कीं ।। छागमन्निर्गुणोपेतमिला पुष्पफलं बहु । सुधन्वा शकटं चैव रथं चामितकूबरम्
candramāne bheṇḍā diyā, sūryena manoharā kāntiḥ pradattā, gomātā surabhī devyā ekalakṣaṃ gāvaḥ pradattāḥ || chāgam annirguṇopetam ilā puṣpaphalaṃ bahu | sudhanvā śakaṭaṃ caiva rathaṃ cāmitakūbaram ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—சந்திரனிடமிருந்து ஒரு ஆட்டுக்கடா தானமாக வந்தது; சூரியன் மனோகரமான காந்தியை அருளினான்; தெய்வீக கோமாதா சுரபி ஒரு லட்சம் பசுக்களை வழங்கினாள். மேலும் பல ஆடுகள், சிறந்த அன்னம், மலரும் கனியும் மிகுதியாகக் கிடைத்தன. சுதன்வன் ஒரு சகடம் (வண்டி) தந்தான்; அளவிட முடியாத சுமைத் திறன் கொண்ட ரதத்தையும் வழங்கினான்।
