नक्षत्रेषु श्राद्धफलविधानम् (Śrāddha Outcomes According to Nakṣatras)
ददृशुः कृत्तिकास्तं तु बालमर्कसमद्युतिम् । जातस्नेहाच्च सौहार्दात् पुपुषु: स्तन्यविस्त्रवै:
dadṛśuḥ kṛttikās taṃ tu bālam arka-samad-yutim | jāta-snehāc ca sauhārdāt pupuṣuḥ stanya-vistravaiḥ ||
க்ருத்திகைகள் அந்தக் குழந்தையை சூரியனைப் போல ஒளிர்வதாகக் கண்டனர். அவர்களின் உள்ளங்களில் பாசம் எழுந்தது; நட்புத் தண்மையால் தங்கள் மார்பிலிருந்து பால் ஓடச் செய்து அவனைப் போஷித்தனர்.
