Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
तद् वै सर्वानतिक्रम्य देवदानवराक्षसान् | मानुषानथ गन्धर्वान् नागानथ च पक्षिण:
tad vai sarvān atikramya devadānavarākṣasān | mānuṣān atha gandharvān nāgān atha ca pakṣiṇaḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— “அவன் தேவர்கள், தானவர்கள், ராக்ஷசர்கள், மனிதர்கள், கந்தர்வர்கள், நாகர்கள், பறவைகள்— அனைவரையும் மீறி— தன் தவறாத அஸ்திரவலிமையால் உங்களுக்கு அச்சம் உண்டாக்கிய அந்த அசுரனை வதம் செய்வான்; மேலும் பிற தேவர்த் துரோகிகளையும் அழிப்பான்.”
