Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
बिलवासं गतांश्रैव निराहारानचेतस: । गतासूनपि संशुष्कान् भूमि: संधारयिष्यति
bilavāsaṃ gatāṃś caiva nirāhārān acetasaḥ | gatāsūn api saṃśuṣkān bhūmiḥ saṃdhārayiṣyati ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—குழிகளிலும் குகைகளிலும் சென்று தங்கியவர்களையும், உணவின்றி உணர்வற்றவர்களையும்—ஆம், உயிர் நீங்கி உலர்ந்த உடல்களையும்—இந்தப் பூமி இன்னும் தாங்கி நிறுத்துகிறது.
