Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
तस्य दर्शनमिष्टं वो यदि देवा विभावसो: । तत्रैवमधिगच्छध्वं कार्य वो यदि वल्लिना,“देवताओ! यदि आपको अग्निदेवका दर्शन अभीष्ट हो और यदि उनसे आपका कोई कार्य हो तो वहीं जाकर उनसे मिलिये
tasya darśanam iṣṭaṃ vo yadi devā vibhāvasaḥ | tatraivam adhigacchadhvaṃ kāryaṃ vo yadi vallinā ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—“தேவர்களே! விபாவசு (அக்னிதேவன்) தரிசனம் உங்களுக்கு வேண்டுமெனில், தண்டம் தாங்கியவரிடம் உங்களுக்கு ஏதேனும் காரியம் இருந்தால், அங்கேயே சென்று அவரைச் சந்தியுங்கள்.”
