Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
अग्न्यभावे च कुरुते वह्निस्थानेषु काउ्चनम् | जामदग्न्य प्रमाणज्ञो वेदश्रुतिनिदर्शनात्
agnyabhāve ca kurute vahnistāneṣu kāñcanam | jāmadagnyaḥ pramāṇajño vedaśrutinidarśanāt ||
வசிஷ்டர் கூறினார்—அக்னி இல்லாதபோது, அக்னி வேண்டிய இடங்களில் பொன்னைப் பயன்படுத்தலாம்; இது வேதச் சுருதியின் எடுத்துக்காட்டால் ஆதாரமுடையது. ஜமதக்னியின் மகனே பரசுராமா, பிரமாணம் அறிந்தவன் இவ்வாறு செய்கிறான்.
