मान्धाता यौवनाश्रवश्व ययातिर्नहुषस्तथा । गा वै ददनत: सततं सहस्रशतसम्मिता:
Māndhātā Yauvanāśvaś ca Yayātir Nahuṣas tathā | gā vai dadantaḥ satataṁ sahasraśata-sammitāḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— மாந்தாதா, யௌவநாஶ்வன், யயாதி, அதுபோல நஹுஷன்—பண்டைய மரபில் புகழ்பெற்ற இம்மன்னர்கள் இடையறாது பசுதானம் செய்தனர்; அவர்களின் தானங்கள் நூறாயிரக் கணக்கில் இருந்தன.
