Go-mahātmyam: Pavitrāṇāṃ Pavitraṃ
Cows and Ghee as Supreme Purifiers
तासाममृतवर्णानां क्षरन्तीनां समन्ततः । बभूवामृतज: फेन: स्रवन्तीनामिवोर्मिज:
tāsām amṛta-varṇānāṁ kṣarantīnāṁ samantataḥ | babhūvāmṛta-jaḥ phenaḥ sravantīnām ivormijaḥ ||
அமிர்தம் போன்ற (பொன்னொளி) நிறமுடைய அந்தப் பசுக்களின் பால் எல்லாத் திசைகளிலும் ஓடத் தொடங்கியது. அந்த ஓடும் பாலிலிருந்து, நதிகளின் அலைகளால் நுரை எழுவது போல, நுரை எழுந்தது.
