Karma-Phala Rahasya and the Ethics of Dāna (कर्मफल-रहस्यं दानधर्मश्च)
स्थण्डिलेषु शयानानां गृहाणि शयनानि च । चीरवल्कलसंवीते वासांस्याभरणानि च
sthaṇḍileṣu śayānānāṃ gṛhāṇi śayanāni ca | cīravalakalasaṃvīte vāsāṃsy ābharaṇāni ca ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—வனவாசத் தவசிகள் வெறும்நிலத்தில் உறங்கினால், அடுத்த பிறவியில் சிறந்த வீடுகளும் சுகமான படுக்கைகளும் பெறுவர்; சீரும் மரப்பட்டையும் அணிவோர், மற்றொரு பிறவியில் நல்வஸ்திரங்களும் அழகிய ஆபரணங்களும் பெறுவர்.
