Pānīya-dāna and Anna-dāna: The Primacy of Life-Sustaining Gifts (पानीयदान-प्रशंसा / अन्नदान-प्रशंसा)
भक्ष्यभोज्यमया: शैला वासांस्याभरणानि च । क्षीरं स्रवन्ति सरितस्तथा चैवान्नपर्वता:,वहाँ भक्ष्य-भोज्य पदार्थोंके पर्वत, वस्त्र और आभूषण हैं। वहाँकी नदियाँ दूध बहाती हैं। अन्नके पर्वतोपम ढेर लगे रहते हैं
bhakṣyabhojyamayāḥ śailā vāsāṃsyābharaṇāni ca | kṣīraṃ sravanti saritas tathā caivānnaparvatāḥ ||
அங்கே உண்ணத் தகுந்த உணவுப் பொருட்களால் ஆன மலைகளும், ஆடைகளும், அணிகலன்களும் உள்ளன. அங்குள்ள நதிகள் பால் ஓடச் செய்கின்றன; தானியக் குவியல்கள் மலைபோல் உயர்ந்து நிற்கின்றன.
