इष्टं दत्त च मन्येथा आत्मानं दानकर्मणा | पूजयेथा यायजूकांस्तवाप्यंशो भवेद् यथा
iṣṭaṃ datta ca manyethā ātmānaṃ dānakarmaṇā | pūjayethā yāyajūkāṃs tavāpy aṃśo bhaved yathā ||
தானச் செயலினாலேயே நீ யாகமும் தானமும் தரும் புண்ணியத்தில் பங்குடையவன் என எண்ணுவாயாக. யாகம் நடத்தும் பிராமணர்களை எப்போதும் போற்றுவாயாக; அதனால் உனக்கும் யாகப் பயனில் ஒரு பங்கு கிடைக்கும்.
