On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
त॑ दृष्टवात्यद्भुतं राजा मनसाचिन्तयत् तदा । स्वप्लोडयं चित्तविभ्रंश उताहो सत्यमेव तु
taṁ dṛṣṭvā atyadbhutaṁ rājā manasā cintayat tadā | svapno ’yaṁ cittavibhrāṁśa utāho satyam eva tu ||
அந்த மிக அதிசயமான காட்சியைக் கண்டு அரசன் மனத்திற்குள் சிந்தித்தான்—“அஹோ! இது கனவா? அல்லது என் மனம் மயக்கத்தில் விழுந்ததா? அல்லது இவை அனைத்தும் உண்மையா?”
