Cavana’s Tests of Kuśika and the Queen (अध्याय ५३: च्यवन–कुशिक-परिक्षा)
गंगायमुनयोवेंगं सुभीम॑ं भीमनि:स्वनम् | प्रतिजग्राह शिरसा वातवेगसमं जवे
gaṅgāyamunayor vegaṃ subhīmaṃ bhīmaniḥsvanam | pratijagrāha śirasā vātavegasamaṃ jave ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—கங்கை, யமுனை ஆகியவற்றின் பெருக்கம் மிகப் பயங்கரமானது; அச்சமூட்டும் முழக்கத்துடன் கர்ஜித்தது. காற்றின் வேகத்தைப் போலத் துரிதமும் தாங்க இயலாததுமான அந்த ஓட்டத்தையும் அந்த முனிவர் தம் தலைமேல் ஏற்று பொறுத்தார்.
