देवदारुवने स्नात्वा धूतपाप्मा कृतोदक: । देवलोकमवाप्रोति सप्तरात्रोषित: शुचि:

Transliteration

devadāruvane snātvā dhūtapāpmā kṛtodakaḥ | devalokam avāpnoti sapta-rātroṣitaḥ śuciḥ ||

Translation

தேவதாரு வனத்தில் நீராடி, விதிப்படி உதககர்மம் (நீர்ச் சடங்கு) செய்தவன் பாவம் கழுவப் பெறுகிறான். தூய்மையுடன் அங்கே ஏழு இரவுகள் தங்கினால், தேவலோகத்தை அடைகிறான்.
