देवासुरगुरुर्देवो देवासुरनमस्कृत: । देवासुरमहामात्रो देवासुरगणाश्रय:

Transliteration

devāsuragurur devo devāsuranamaskṛtaḥ | devāsuramahāmātro devāsuragaṇāśrayaḥ ||

Translation

வாயு கூறினான்—அவனே தேவர்களுக்கும் அசுரர்களுக்கும் குரு; அவனே பரம தெய்வசொரூபன், தேவர்-அசுரர் அனைவராலும் வணங்கப்படுபவன். அவர்களுள் முதன்மையானவன்; தேவர் மற்றும் அசுரக் கூட்டங்களின் அடைக்கலமும் அவனே.
