अनरण्यो नरपतिर्जानुजंघस्तथैव च । कक्षसेनश्व राजर्षियें चान्ये चानुकीर्तिता:
anaraṇyo narapatir jānujāṅghas tathaiva ca | kakṣasenaś ca rājarṣir ye cānye cānukīrtitāḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—“(நினைவுகூரத் தக்க அரசர்களில்) நரபதி அனரண்யன், அதுபோல ஜானுஜங்கன்; மேலும் அரசரிஷி கக்ஷசேனன்—இன்னும் மரபில் புகழப்பட்ட பிற அரசர்களும் உள்ளனர்.”
