sarayūr gaṇḍakī caiva lohitaś ca mahānadaḥ | tāmrāruṇā vetravatī parṇāśā gautamī tathā ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—“சரயூ, கந்தகீ, லோஹிதம், மகாநதம்; மேலும் தாம்ரா, அருணா, வேத்ரவதீ, பர்ணாசா, கௌதமீ—இவற்றையும் நான் நினைவுகூர்கிறேன்.”
