गड्जा महानदी वेणा कावेरी नर्मदा तथा । कुलम्पुना विशल्या च करतोयाम्बुवाहिनी
gaḍjā mahānadī veṇā kāverī narmadā tathā | kulampunā viśalyā ca karatoyāmbuvāhinī ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—“(மேலும்) கட்ஜா, மகாநதி, வேணா, காவேரி, நர்மதா; மேலும் குலம்புனா, விசல்யா, கரதோயா, அம்புவாஹினி—இந்நதிகளையும் நான் நினைவுகூர்கிறேன்.”
