कालयोगी महानाद: सर्वकामश्नतुष्पथ: । निशाचर: प्रेतचारी भूतचारी महेश्वर:
kālayogī mahānādaḥ sarvakāmaśnatuṣpathaḥ | niśācaraḥ pretacārī bhūtacārī maheśvaraḥ ||
வாயு கூறினார்—அவர் காலயோகத்தின் அதிபதி, பேரொலி உடையவன்; எல்லா ஆசைகளையும் உண்ணி அழிப்பவன், திருப்திப்படுத்த இயலாத கடினப் பாதையுடையவன். அவர் இரவில் நடமாடுபவன், பிரேதர்களிடையே உலாவுபவன், பூதங்களிடையே இயங்குபவன்—அவரே மகேஸ்வரன்.
