महातपा घोरतपा अदीनो दीनसाधक: । संवत्सरकरो मन्त्र: प्रमाणं परमं तप:

mahātapā ghoratapā adīno dīnasādhakaḥ | saṃvatsarakaro mantraḥ pramāṇaṃ paramaṃ tapaḥ ||

வாயுதேவன் கூறினான்— அவர் மகாதபஸ்வி, அச்சமூட்டும் தவத்தால் ஒளிர்பவன்; உயர்ந்த மனம் கொண்டவன், சரணடைந்த ஏழைத் துயருற்றோரின் வேண்டுதலை நிறைவேற்றுபவன். அவர் ஆண்டை உருவாக்குபவன்; ஓம் போன்ற மந்திர வடிவமே அவர்; உண்மையான அதிகாரத்தின் அளவுகோலும், தவத்தின் உச்ச வடிவமும் அவர்.
