अजुन उवाच जीवाम्यहं ब्राह्मणार्थ सर्वथा सततं प्रभो | ब्रह्माण्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्ष प्रणणमामि च नित्यश:
arjuna uvāca jīvāmy ahaṃ brāhmaṇārthaṃ sarvathā satataṃ prabho | brahmaṇyo brāhmaṇebhyaś ca praṇamāmi ca nityaśaḥ ||
அர்ஜுனன் கூறினான்—பிரபுவே! எல்லா வகையிலும் எப்போதும் பிராமணர்களின் நலனுக்காகவே நான் வாழ்வைத் தாங்குகிறேன். நான் பிராமண்ய தர்மத்தில் பக்தியுடையவன்; தினந்தோறும் பிராமணர்களுக்கு வணங்குகிறேன்.
