मर्द नामाहुतिमयं व्यादितास्यं महामुनि: । तस्य दन्तसहस््रं तु बभूव शतयोजनम्
marda nāmāhutimayaṃ vyāditāsyaṃ mahāmuniḥ | tasya dantahasraṃ tu babhūva śatayojanam ||
அந்த மகாமுனி ஆஹுதியால் உருவான ‘மர்த/மத’ எனும் உருவத்தைப் படைத்தார்; அது வாயைப் பிளந்து நின்றது. அதற்கு ஆயிரம் பற்கள் இருந்தன; அவை ஒவ்வொன்றும் நூறு யோஜனை உயரமாயிருந்தன।
