भगवान् भगहानन्दी वनमाली हलायुध: । आदित्यो ज्योतिरादित्य: सहिष्णुर्गतिसत्तम:
bhagavān bhagahānandī vanamālī halāyudhaḥ | ādityo jyotirādityaḥ sahiṣṇur gatisattamaḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—அவர் பகவான்; பகஹா—பக்தரின் அன்பை வளர்க்க அவர்களின் ஐஸ்வர்யத்தைப் பறிப்பவன்; ஆனந்தீ—பரம இன்பஸ்வரூபன்; வனமாலீ—விஜயந்தி வனமாலை அணிந்தவன்; ஹலாயுதன்—உழவாயுதம் தாங்கியவன் (பலராம ரூபம்); ஆதித்யன்—வாமன ரூப ஆதித்யன்; ஜ்யோதிராதித்யன்—சூரியமண்டலத்தில் விளங்கும் ஒளிச்சொரூபன்; ஸஹிஷ்ணு—எல்லா இருமைகளையும் தாங்குபவன்; மற்றும் கதிஸத்தமன்—அனைவருக்கும் உச்ச இலக்கு, பரம அடைக்கலம்।
